We make tears when we cry, but we also make tears all the time, without even noticing it! How can we make a spoon of tears in an hour without crying? It is all because of the science of the eye.
Our eyes are very sensitive parts of our body. They need to be wet all the time because if they dry up, we will not be able to see clearly. We produce special types of tears to keep our eyes moist and to keep out things that might hurt our eyes like pollen or dust. These tears come out of our tear glands all the time, without us noticing it! That is why in about an hour, an average human would produce close to a spoon full of tears!
