Plastic is a type of polymer that is very strong and lightweight. It has very special properties, which makes it usable for lots of things. Plastic can be found in lots of things like cars and computers! We humans prpduce a lot of plastic and throw it in the trash. That is very bad for the environment because plastic is so strong that it can;t naturally decompose or break down easily. That is why there is so much plastic trash! Humans use a lot of it and just throw it away!!
