Isn’t cool that every single snowflake has 6 sides? Yes! But, how? It is all because the molecules in an ice crystal join together in a hexagonal shape. The hexagonal arrangement which allows water molecules, which have one Oxygen atom and two Hydrogen atoms, to form together in the most efficient way. They form in this way because that is the most efficient!
