Rainforests are large forests that contain over 50% of the Earth’s animals and plants, even though they only cover 6% of the Earth’s surface! These rainforests have millions of trees that take in Carbon dioxide and release Oxygen. All of these trees combined can absorb a lot of Carbon dioxide! That is why rainforests are important: they can help reduce climate change!
