The thermosphere is the last layer of the atmosphere. The thermosphere of Earth is so hot because it is directly exposed to the Sun’s electromagnetic waves. UV light and lots of very hot energy are released by the Sun. That energy makes the thermosphere very hot. The thermosphere is actually where most satellites are! That is why the thermosphere is so hot!!
