Fact of the Day Image Feb. 16th

The footprints of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, the first people to ever walk on the Moon, will always be there! It is because there is no wind on the Moon. Wind is caused by difference in air temperature and pressure in the atmosphere, here on Earth. But, on the Moon, there is not atmosphere or air around, so there won’t be any wind! That wind will not blow the lunar soil around covering up the footprints. That is why the Moon landing footprints are still there!
