Caterpillars have a lot more muscles than humans do! Caterpillars usually have 4,000 muscles, while a human only has between 640 and 840 muscles! They have so many muscles because they have to get around easily to eat. They have to move every inch of their body to move, so they have to have lots of muscles to do so!
