Fact of the Day Image Mar. 26th

Trees and plants absorb Carbon dioxide and release Oxygen. The Carbon dioxide that is absorbed by the tree is converted into food for the tree itself. The tree takes in sunlight, nutrients, water, and Carbon dioxide to make Oxygen and sugar for itself. This happens through a process called photosynthesis. A fully grown tree can absorb over 48 pounds of Carbon dioxide per year because they need the Carbon dioxide to make food for themselves!!
