During the Apollo missions, NASA sent astronauts and rovers to the Moon. Those rovers rode around the Moon, collecting information about the Moon’s surface. Then, when the rovers were retired, the tire tracks from the rovers stayed on the Moon and are still there today! This is because there is no wind or any force that can cover up those tracks. This is why the tire tracks on the Moon!!
