Fact of the Day Image Apr. 28th

You would weigh very slightly less on a mountain than at sea level. This is because of the gravitational pull of Earth. Weight is impacted by gravitational pull. Distance impacts the strength of gravity. On top of a mountain, you are further away from the center of the Earth, so you will weigh very, very, very slightly less.

I have built a calculator that can calculate how much you weigh on other planets! Go to projects.spectacularsci.com/calculate-your-weight-on-planets to check it out!
