Dragonflies have compound eyes. That means that they have thousands of individual light sensors! Dragonflies basically have thousands of eyes, while humans only have two! If you look at a dragonfly’s eye, you will see thousands of little pieces inside of their big eye. That is what helps them see in all directions at the same time.
