Recycling is the process of making used or old things into new things. Recycling usually happens with some plastics, glass, and paper. They melt/shred the materials and make new objects out of them. Recycling reuses the material and shapes it into new objects that can be used again! Recycling is very good for the Earth because you can reuse old things instead of throwing them in the trash. When you throw recyclable materials in the trash, they will just sit in a landfill, polluting the Earth.
