A starfish eats small animals such as clams and mussels. But, the starfish has a strange way of eating the insides of these animals. They actually flip the stomach inside out so that it is outside of their body! Then they put their own stomachs into the shell and eat! They don’t need to use their mouths! They can just eat using their stomach!
